About us
Cenex NL is an independent and trusted ‘not-for-profit’ research and consultancy organisation specialising on zero emission mobility. Founded in Amsterdam in 2018, Cenex NL’s mission is to catalyse market development of transport innovations that stimulate transition towards sustainable energy, resource efficiency and inclusiveness. Cenex NL is a strategic partner of Cenex UK, originally established as the UK’s first “Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Technologies” in 2005.

The Cenex organisations have a broad knowledge of zero-emission vehicle technologies and work across all vehicle types, from scooters to heavy-duty trucks. They are world-leading experts on electric vehicle charging technology and innovation, as well as the integration of electric vehicles to the energy systems. The Cenex NL experts also specialise on Circular Economy applications to transport and the related energy infrastructure value chains.
In AeroSolfd, CENEX NL will contribute to the development of a sustainability assessment framework that will evaluate the impact of the proposed retrofit solutions. CENEX NL will also perform Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for the different filtering AeroSolfd products to identify their environmental footprint and propose recommendations for improvement.
